 水月禅寺简介

水月禅寺位于江苏省徐州市睢宁县白塘河湿地公园，是在睢宁县地藏寺的基础上复建的。水月禅寺建设突破了传统规制，一改中国寺院建筑风格，在遵循佛教殿堂布局制式的前提下，采用现代建筑元素，与佛教的启迪心智、荡污涤垢、祈福纳祥巧妙结合，诠释了大道至简的人文理念。在新加坡举行的2015年世界建筑节（World Architecture Festival）公布了“宗教类”入围名单，全球九大宗教建筑因其独特设计入围“宗教类”最美建筑名单，中国江苏睢宁水月禅寺成功入选。
水月禅寺是国家4A级旅游景区。


历史沿革

据《后汉书》载：“笮融在下邳（今睢宁县）大起浮屠寺，上累金盘，下为重楼，又堂阁周回，可容三千许人。作黄金涂像，衣以锦彩。每浴佛，辄多设饮饭，布席于路，其有就食及观者，且万余人”。上海同济大学提供资料考证：笮融所建之塔，是中国历史上有文字记载和形象描述的“天下第一塔”。在黄忏华所著的《中国佛教史》中，视之为“此佛教流布于民间也”。可见，睢宁是佛教在中国从“官方”走向“民间”的肇始之地，也是佛教标志性建筑“浮屠”在中国的首建之地。在宋金时代，浮屠寺毁于战乱。
斗转星移，成住坏空。复建承载着悠久历史的浮屠寺一直是睢宁佛教四众弟子的夙愿。经过申请，通过省、市民宗部门批准，浮屠寺得以复建。同时，因江苏世纪天虹纺织集团厂区扩建二期，坐落在睢宁县睢城镇境内地藏寺需要迁建，地藏寺距今已有600多年历史，始建于明朝永乐年间，不幸毁于日寇侵华战争，几成一片废墟。改革开放后，地藏寺由于历年来当地党委及政府部门大力落实宗教政策，附近佛教徒及广大群众大力维护，又恢复旧貌。经讨论决定，将浮屠寺复建和地藏寺迁建选址在白塘河省级湿地公园内，建设一座现代化、规模化的寺院。因寺院周边临水，又因佛学所称因、果、圆、缺的信仰似月亮，且寺庙突出是水月观音文化，故寺院命名为“水月禅寺”。


主要结构

禅寺建筑规模宏大，于2013年10竣工。2013年11月又在禅寺前增建了占地面积约8000平方米的水月广场，于2014年3月竣工。广场中间请入一尊水月观音，高9.8米，观音矗立更加增强了广场的灵性和气势，更利于佛法的弘扬。
水月禅寺建筑群总平面沿正南正北方向中轴对称式布置，纵向一根轴，横向2根轴，纵轴上依 次分布着山门、天王殿、大雄宝殿、藏经阁。第一横轴分别为观音殿和地藏殿，第二横轴 分别为念佛堂和禅堂。在四周还分布着僧僚、香积厨、客僚、展卖厅等建筑。

建筑特色

水月禅寺建筑群总平面沿正南正北方向中轴对称式布置，纵向一根轴，横向2根轴，纵轴上依 次分布着山门、天王殿、大雄宝殿、藏经阁。第一横轴分别为观音殿和地藏殿，第二横轴 分别为念佛堂和禅堂。在四周还分布着僧僚、香积厨、客僚、展卖厅等建筑。
水月禅寺位于白塘河湿地公园东南部，可由公园北大门进入，沿东侧环湖路前行寻访禅寺，亦可由湿地公园东大门进入，经一座拱桥进入水月广场。

白塘河湿地公园的东大门是一座拱桥，为什么要以桥作为进入水月禅寺的大门呢？我们都知道一句俗话，叫“佛渡有缘人”，渡是“到彼岸”的意思，就是从烦恼的此岸度到觉悟的彼岸。佛教中讲“可度者为说法，不可度者为做因缘。”只要是到了水月禅寺，就是与佛法，与寺院结下了一份善缘。借由这座桥，请各位游客暂时与红尘俗世脱离开，进入佛法的禅意清净世界。
